Be Inspired.....

What a busy week it has been with everything from running errands to my daughter's open house at her school. Well as fall approaches us our busy hectic days should slow down for awhile atleast. As for me the beginning of Autumn is a time to start making soups, putting out my harvest decorations and surrounding myself with family. Tomorrow I am off to the COUNTRY NESTERS MARKETPLACE ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES FALL SHOW. Hopefully I will find some "goodies"~Happy Shopping!

Sweet Summer Days

After picking Blueberries for my first time ever this Summer with my daughters and my mother I am already looking forward to next Summer! What a relaxing thing to do and a memory that I will cherish forever. And I have plenty frozen to last me through the Winter months~yummy! Apple picking is upon us, so get your family and a basket and go make a memory and a very delicious Apple pie too!Happy Picking!

Out with the old.....In with the new!

Well as the first day of Autumn is nearing I thought what a better way to end the Summer months than to start something new~Simply Junkin! After becoming a stay at home mom and adjusting to the one income I have become very "thrifty"I guess you could say.I am very inspired by the Farm Chicks Serena and Teri(even though Teri has decided to retire as a Farm Chick~sad) and have adapted to their "Junkin" ways! I hope that this helps all the other stay at home moms out there that need a little inspiration just like I did!

Earlier this Summer at an Summer art show I fell in love with these "Berry Colanders"! But being a "Junk" nut I waited and just new I would find one soon enough....last week I found this Blue Enamel one for $4.99!Happy "Junkin"!
